. . . and one not so happy customer

Loren at Incremental Blog is having regretts after installing Messenger 7.0.  You can read all about it here.  His blog looks like it has lots of frothy goodness for TabletPC developers.

Here’s a quote from his post:

However, for me, I wish there was a new whiteboarding app that was really ink aware. Oh, and it would be good if it was able to connect more often than not.

There aren’t enough details in Loren’s post for to me to make any suggestions on how to fix his connectivity problems.

When it comes to troubleshooting these kinds of problems the key piece of information support folks need is the hresult, or error number, included in the dialog box.

If we can’t solve the problem with the hresult, there is a connectivity log that is also useful in troubleshooting these issues.
