There aren’t enough details in Loren’s post for to me to make any suggestions on how to fix his connectivity problems.
When it comes to troubleshooting these kinds of problems the key piece of information support folks need is the hresult, or error number, included in the dialog box.
If we can’t solve the problem with the hresult, there is a connectivity log that is also useful in troubleshooting these issues.
